We offer the following in tuition:

• Guitar lessons
• Bass guitar lessons
• Singing lessons
• Piano and Keyboard lessons

Our music lessons are held in our store in Ipswich.

Our private lessons can be tailored to suit the individual needs of each student. We offer lessons during the day as well as after school lessons.

We offer children’s lessons through to advanced players who want to increase their theory knowledge.

The lesson cost is $40/ half hour, with a discount offered for term payments.

Teaching Info

Kylie

I have been involved with music since primary school, when I first joined the school choir. I loved the sense of being part of a team to create something beautiful. Music has since been a huge part of my life, and I consider it an important aspect of education.

I started teaching in 2018, but I have undertaken alot of study in my personal pursuit of improving as a musician. I have my AMEB gr 7 in classical voice and am currently working towards the grade 8 exam. I also attended the Jazz course at the Mackay conservatorium for 1 year. Some highlights during my musical experience have been trips to Hamilton Island with jazz groups, Magnetic Island with an akapel vocal group, multiple performances with choirs, small groups, and as a soloist. I also learnt guitar when I was in Mackay to be able to do solo gigs and further my musical education.

Here at Tone Town I teach guitar, voice, ukulele and music theory.

I began my musical journey at the age of 5 on classical piano sitting AMEB exams and performing at various eisteddfods along the way, I began learning guitar and bass guitar in my teenage years picking up the bass as part of the school musical and haven’t looked back since! I have been teaching professionally since 2005 in the Ipswich area and have a genuine love and passion for passing on my knowledge to the upcoming generation
