Bio

The Suzie G School of Music and Performance or SOMAP is based in Thornlands in the Redlands, Qld.

This msuic school specialises in private, high quality music tuition on violin, viola, cello, guitar, beginner piano, music theory.

Also on  offer are holiday workshops and masterclasses, performance technique classes, assisting with exam preparation, auditions and competitions. Overcoming stage fright and having more fun with your playing. Suzie G-SOMAP holds  student soirees at the end of each semester and studio concerts every term to assist with the love of performing.

The school runs, Monday-Thursday from 3.30pm-6pm and on  Saturdays  from 9am -6pm. We take students from age 6 and above.

Teaching Info

Each lesson is tailored made to suit the needs and level of the student learning with Suzie G.  Each student will be given a studio policy document to fill out before the term lessons begin. All lessons are billed upfront at the beginning of the term. A term overiew of the goals and what is to be coverd will  also be prvided. Students will also be given a term practice sheet to fill out and practice targets to be achieved.

A variety of material will be taught and each student will be assessed. All students are encouraged to particpate in the end of semeester student soiree, studio concerts, local competitons and exams.
