Bio

Hi, I’m Shannon – a performer, vocal coach, and educator with a passion for helping singers and actors find their voice!

I am currently Head of the Musical Theatre department at the Australian Performing Arts Conservatory, and I have an MA in Music Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

I teach singing and acting online and in person in central Brisbane, working with students of all levels – from complete beginners through to working professionals.

I am passionate about empowering my students with confidence, technique and sharing my love of singing, acting, and musical theatre.

My performance career has taken me around the world – including lead vocalist roles for Disney, UK touring productions, major international cruise lines, and various screen appearances. I also tour internationally as part of the professional vocal trio, ‘The Madeleines’ (themadeleines.com).

Teaching Info

I specialise in Musical Theatre technique using the Estill Method, and teach across pop, rock, classical and jazz styles. I tailor my lessons to your unique skillset and ability – so you leave each lesson with practical exercises you can work on.

I also work with students preparing to audition for tertiary performing arts programmes and professionals preparing for auditions and performances.
