Bio

Quiana is a Brisbane-based violinist. She started learning the piano at the age of 4 and the violin shortly after at age 5. Her professional violin mentors include Christa Powell, Andrea Messenger, Delia Kinmont and the late John Curro; founder of the Queensland Youth Orchestras.

Quiana has performed with many professional orchestras such as Deep Blue, Queensland Pops Orchestra, String Source and with the Queensland Youth Orchestras for 8 years.

She currently works teaching strings at St Joseph’s Primary School, Sacred Heart Primary School, Souly Strings music school and at her home studio in Strathpine.

When she’s not playing violin, you can usually find Quiana rock climbing or fostering rescue puppies.
