Layla Mertz

Hello, my name is Layla! I have just recently started teaching violin and enjoy it very much. I am a patient teacher who is passionate about encouraging my students to do the best they can and always making sure they’re enjoying the music they play!

I am currently studying violin at LmusA level. I have participated in AHEP, SHEP, Tagiev Chamber Orchestra and currently a member of the first violin section in the Queensland Youth Symphony (QYO) I’m ready to support you on your musical journey!

Regardless of your age, any student in the beginner-intermediate range is welcome to learn with me as my service is available to all students.

I charge $50 for 60mins. I am currently tutoring from my place in Drewvale.

I have currently been accepted to Griffith University for a Bachelor of Music at age 16. Finishing grade 10 at John Paul College and I am widely involved across all aspects of Performing Arts at JPC. I am able to offer to share my almost 10 years of experience in musical leadership, performances and AMEB examinations.
