Bio

In my teaching studio, I specialise in coaching versatile singers, musicians, and performers capable of all genres of vocal/musical performance from speech training, pop/rock, jazz, and music theatre to classical. I have had 34 years of successful teaching and industry experience and am able to assist you with career guidance, direction, and industry contacts. During my career, I have been the vocal coach to numerous professional performers appearing in New York theatre productions, Queensland Theatre Company, and La Boite Theatre Company productions as well as numerous festivals such as the Queensland Music Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, and the Brisbane Festival, some of my students have gone on to secure places with London West End Theatre productions, International Cruise Liners shows, The Ten Tenors, Opera Queensland, Melbourne State Opera, Sony Records and popular T.V. 

I teach from my home studio in Cleveland Queensland and from select music schools throughout Brisbane. Lessons are by appointment.

Lesson Confirmations

• You will receive a text from Laine the day before your appointment confirming your lesson.

• Please respond to this text by 7pm that evening confirming your attendance and please include your direct deposit receipt number in this text.

• If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please respond to this text, outlining your wishes by 7pm.

Lesson Cancellations

• Cancelation notifications are to be received no later than 7pm the day preceding your booked session.

• Nonattendance to a booked lesson or late cancellation notification: Will forfeit the lesson and incur the fee of $30 payable within 24hrs via direct deposit.

• Failure to pay the cancellation fee of $30 may result in the suspension of lessons
